Here's a thought, why do people go all out of the way to show someone that they're ignoring 'em? Isn't it pointless to ignore someone when it's so apparent in your snobbish face that you're avoiding him?
What ever happened to good old white lies and public decency? Aren't they 'in' nowadays?
Just thinking out loud.

Cheska is what?!
Aside from being the wonderful-est person in the whole wide world [as said on the first post], and the Lord of the Conversation [as proven daily]-- she's also the most useful bored cousin who fixes my accounts' layouts! Yay Cheska, find something else better to do. :)

posted.
when there's really nothing much to do (or rather post), you should go and answer surveys like this:
1. What is it about you that people don't really notice?
-- I’m petrified of clowns and mascots.
(no, Jollibee. I don’t think you're cute, let alone funny.)
2. What do people commonly mistake you for?
-- a kid…?
3. Are you insecure?
-- all of us have insecurities.
4. Do you think you're attractive?
-- of course.Ü and irresistible to Sandino. LOL.
5. Do you find it easy to trust people?
-- yes.. I’m planning to change that though.
6. Do you have a really big secret?
-- again, friends’ secrets that I keep. As to whether I have 1, yeah, sure.
(wouldn’t you wanna know?! Haha!)
7. If yes, how many people have you told about it?
-- I’m not even sure if I have 1.
8. How are you when you get mad?
-- I seldom get mad (sad, but true).
But when I do, I just keep quiet.
Sometimes I cry, or I send a nasty email or friendster message (cheska! LOL.)
9. What do you do when you're bored?
-- stalk people, answer surveys, corrupt wishes.
10. Do you enjoy doing nothing?
-- sometimes. But I enjoy ‘working’ more.
(surfing the net, updating my blog, stalking people on friendster, answering lameass surveys..)
11. Are you comfortable in being alone?
-- yes.
12. Do you think watching the sunset or the stars is fun?
-- it depends on the moment, on the person you’re sharing the experience with.
But for the sake of answering this item, yes.
13. Do you like the rain?
-- yes,yes,yes.
14. What can you say about poetry?
-- a bunch of enticing words put together to form an “art”
15. Are you a phone person?
-- not really.
16. Do you smoke weed?
-- nope. I like my brain the way it is.
17. What song best describes how you feel?
-- this item is cheesy.
18. What impossible thing do you want to do right now?
-- turn invisible so I can steal things. Haha.
(but then everything I touch must turn invisible too...)
19. What is missing in your life right this moment?
-- oatmeal raisin cookies.
20. aRe you happy with the way things are going in your lovelife?
-- :-) *sigh*
21. Are you sure?
-- (read above answer)
22. Where were you today?
-- before here, home of course.
23. What did you do today?
-- type, print, staple, organize..stuff.
24. Who were you with today?
-- sandino and zat.
25. What are you planning to do now?
-- doze off. I need some rest.

hampas ng araw, pagdamdam ng gabi
After a long period of journal hiatus, I’m back with an update of what transpired upon my absence. A lot had happened, and I mean A LOT since I’ve ‘gone’. Let me give you brief run-through, starting with my birthday:
September 5, 2 days after my actual birthday (I was absent that particular Monday – ‘birthday’ leave.haha), my office-mates (lead by Zat), surprised me by decorating my cube with pictures, banners and letters.
I spent the whole day doing an ‘Amazing Race’ sort of thing where they had me go through different stations. In each station, letters from my colleagues await. Talk about effort.Ü. It was most of all tiring, but having all those letters and well-wishes for me on my birthday from thoughtful (not to mention creative) friends, I say it was all worth it.Ü
I downloaded YM, even if it’s against company rules. (Screw those rules anyway). A while ago, a friend from Rich YM-ed me..exactly when Kat Flores of the HR department was asking me something. Bummer. She even commented on how Lee Dong Wook looks extra yummy in my display image. I agreed.Ü Was she being polite or is she up to sabotage me tomorrow? Haha…I really don’t know and honestly, I couldn’t care less. It’s nice that I have YM again. I get to chat when there’s nothing to do. (I chat ALL the time, just so you know). I’ll be gone by October anyway.Ü
A sister of a friend died last month while crossing Congressional Avenue. That place, known for its fast speeding cars, cabs and tricycles, is nonetheless very deadly (I met an accident there too, but that’s a whole different story. ;p) I remember that day when I heard of her death. I woke up feeling glum and heavy, not knowing why. I found out about it a little later, when a friend told me of the tragedy. I was startled, and for a moment there, I kind of felt numb. I guess that’s how my body reacts when I’m overwhelmed. When I arrived in the office, I slouched in my chair, covered my face and cried for a whole 10 minutes. My heart was very heavy that whole day. Next month would’ve been her 18th birthday. =(
Marvi will be leaving on the 25th. (Ola, España!) I know, it’s her lifelong dream to go to Europe..and I’m very proud of her..extremely proud even. It’s just that I’m gonna miss her terribly! She’s one of my 7 soul sisters.Ü
I can’t wait for our post-birthday-slash-despedida party: an all-girls night out, no boyfriends (hmmm…), no Romeo Movido! Haha! (that doesn’t mean I don’t love you chocomousse.), booze, food, and of course pure, unadulterated ‘wholesome’ fun. (I AM wholesome). I’m gonna miss you Marvi! Till then, Adios!Ü
I am currently in love with up dharma down’s Pag-agos. At last, a song with lyrics that sound so good, I can taste it:
At sa aking pagkuubli, hampas ng araw pagdamdam ng gabi
Tulog ang iyong mga kamay, di nako makapag antay
Isang umaga muling aahon, at sisikat sa mga panahon
Na tayo pang dalawa, masayang pagsasama
Buong araw ng pag-agos, kailan ang huling unos
Di alam kung tatakbo, kusang lalayo sayo
Isang umaga muli ng pag-iisa, walang mayakap at makasama
Pusong pilit na sinugatan, landas kong karaniwan.
***
Finally, a message to them people who can’t keep their eyes to themselves:
“I know…you may be poor…famished, even. But please, be decent enough to mind your own phone.Ü”
